Your support makes it possible for The Perla Ballet to maintain our programming and dance education at its highest level, to the benefit of hundreds of students and families each year. This artform teaches expression and provides a way of telling stories and describing the feelings and experiences we have around us – but it also provides community to the students and families and teaches emerging adults how to fall and rise again, or to be willing to be vulnerable and move forward to becoming a strong individual who also values the camaraderie of the fellow dancer working next to them.
The Perla Ballet, together with its host St. Augustine Dance Conservatory, have a shared vision of facilitating the growth of individuality and artistry in youth. We work to be a source of high-quality dance productions and dance education where students and their families come first – where children and young people can come to learn the art of dance and to be inspired – by the enjoyable and disciplined nature of dance education – to pursue whatever dreams they may have.
